Great post Andy! I'm like you, and I love playing with new tech and was one of the first people I know to have over 100 smart devices in my house ๐Ÿ˜‚. So I am probably naturally optimistic about how these tools will be utilized.

For me, the true value of AI hasn't just been automation; itโ€™s been its incredible usefulness in analyzing my own thinking. It functions like a hyper-rational, emotionally intelligent extension of my inner dialogue. When I start to spiral about an emotional crisis, I can do a total frustration dump on it, and the system never gets tired or worn out. It removes the friction that can build up in relationships, especially for those of us who struggle with anxiety and need more reassurance than the average friend or family member.

I don't think it should ever replace indispensable human connections like a good therapist, family or friend, but as a framework for stabilizing our internal worlds, itโ€™s a powerful companion.

Such a good response. So much resonated with me. We use AI very similarly! Guess weโ€™re just nerds. ๐Ÿค“

Thanks for your comment!

The best one can do now is learning more about AI and preparing ourselves for the future. I agree, AI is great for medical research; however, AI will not totally replace doctors in the future.

This is a spot on analysis. People need to be critical thinkers and logical. Donโ€™t believe everything you see.

As long as we use it safely, I am very pro-AI. It can help a lot, such as detecting cancer and making work tasks easier. I am very anti using it for stupid videos... like those dumb "fruit AI TikToks"

Yes! I have high hopes for medical uses and hope we can eradicate cancer eventually.

For content creation, no thanks. We donโ€™t need AI videos, music, art, etc. I couldnโ€™t care less about that crap. Humans > AI.
